What we collect

How your photo is processed

Your photo is sent to OpenRouter, which routes it to an AI model (currently Anthropic's Claude) to read the notes and write the quiz. This is a one-time processing call — quizsnap does not use your photos to train any model, and does not retain the image after your quiz is generated.

Session recording & analytics

We use a self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) to understand how the product is used — page visits, and short session replays of how you interact with the page (clicks, scrolling, typing into non-sensitive fields).

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one to track your free-preview usage if you generate a quiz without signing in. None of these are used for advertising.

Payments

Paid plans (where available) are handled by Stripe. We don't see or store your card details — Stripe does.

Who this is for

quizsnap is a study tool aimed at high-school and college students. We don't knowingly collect more than the account email above, and we don't ask for or need a birthdate. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account without a parent's awareness, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

You can delete your account and its quizzes at any time by contacting us. You can stop analytics recording as described above.
